The Valuation Consultant will work on our Valuation & Advisory Services team to produce appraisal reports, consulting studies and portfolio valuations.  Working alongside our senior management team, you will build relationships with clients, develop growth opportunities, and use advanced internal technology platforms to enhance your appraisal reports.

• Prepares appraisal report by describing physical and economic property characteristics, appraisal procedures used, and information analyzed
• Provide consistent mentorship, guidance, and feedback to Valuation Associates
• Model cash flows using ARGUS Enterprise.
• Property inspections as needed.
• Develop new business opportunities.
• Any other duties a may be assigned from time to time.

• Minimum of a 4-year university degree in a relevant functional area including Bachelor of Commerce or MBA or similar, etc.
• 4+ years of related work experience.
• AACI Designation or near completion, in good standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
• Must be proficient in Argus, MS Word and MS Excel.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to write reports, effective oral and written communication skills, and an aptitude for continuous learning.
• Ability to self-motivate and effectively manage competing priorities while providing excellent support to clients with an uncompromised high caliber work product.
• Ability to work in a team environment and cooperate with others to meet objectives.
• Results-oriented, proactive, and diligent in delivering uncompromised, high-quality information to users under strict deadlines.
• Effectively and tactfully handling difficult or sensitive issues.
• Pay strong attention to detail.
• Respect the confidentiality of clients and information.
